Updates

Milestones, dated.

We publish institutional milestones here as they happen, in plain language. Nothing is announced before it is true.

  • Board adopts the amended MOI, the policy suites and the public-benefit undertaking

At a board sitting on 8 September 2026 all three directors signed the Signature and Approval Routing Pack: the amended, social-housing-aligned Memorandum of Incorporation was adopted by special resolution for lodgement with CIPC; a public officer and SARS registered representative was appointed; the public-benefit fiduciary undertaking was signed; the outstanding director change was resolved under section 71 for lodgement with CIPC; and the Governance and Operations Policy Manual and the Tenant and Property Management Policy Suite were adopted. Lodgements with CIPC and SARS follow and will be recorded here when confirmed.

  • Website corrections published after independent review

An independent review of the website on 7 September 2026 led to a corrected release the same day: a clearer tenant warning, a single "ask to be notified" request, photograph context captions, the Information Regulator’s current contact details, self-hosted typefaces and a policy table that fits a small phone screen. A further release corrected how the site is cached so that returning visitors receive the latest version.

  • Website published as a public review release

The institution’s website is published as a public review release. It is excluded from search engines until the board signs off the release gate; the pages themselves are open to anyone with the address.

  • Brand identity and SHRA submission bundle prepared

The Magna Carta visual identity (Brand Guidelines v1.0) and the twelve-document SHRA accreditation submission bundle were prepared for board approval and lodgement. Outstanding items are tracked in the bundle’s gap register.

  • Director change filed with CIPC

A director-change supporting pack was prepared and filed with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission as part of finalising the board presented to the regulator.
